FBS Tonight (Thursday)

All the Thursday night games have FCS teams involved ... and two of them are on TV (one only if you have the DirecTV Sports Pack.

On ESPNU (DTV 208), we have Prairie View A&M vs #3 Sam Houston State ... 17-3 SHSU early in the 2nd quarter.

Meanwhile, (as you would expect) #17 Samford is pounding D-II West Alabama, 35-7. No TV, and I haven't bothered to look for a stream. Of course, Idaho State is at Utah State, and the Bengals are down (but only by 10) with about 5 min left in the 1st quarter.

Here in a minute or so, we will have Houston Baptist at Texas Southern ... if anybody cares. DTV 674.

D-II West Alabama gave #17 Samford (at Samford) a tussle. Samford only won by 49-41. How's that going to look to the pollsters? :? :lol:

SHSU is not dominating Prairie View the way you'd expect from a #3 rank team (44-31 late in the 4th), but Briscoe has been "workmanlike" so far ... 21 of 32 for 294 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT. They have the ball late, so he should add a bit ti that.
