...get off your fat asses/out of the box...
...make a little noise at the start of the third...
...cover for the guys that got to go out and reload...
...actually be part of the game instead of the non-factor...

Agreed! I think Washington Griz runs risk of being the place it "used to be" in many peoples' eyes. By no means all but many Griz fans seem to forget what got our environment the reputation it has. Loud all game. Get up on big defensive plays. Don't leave with 6 minutes left in 2nd quarter and come in with 6 minutes left in 3rd. Team needs the fans to help be part of a win...not just grumble if it doesn't happen.

Anyone remember the safety Griz got vs. Marshall in 1995? 3,000 or 4,000 fans caused a noise situation that made a difference in a hostile 30,000+ seat stadium when it counted most.

My personal opinion as well. It even seems embarrassing when the 2nd half starts, and on TV it looks like there might be 10,000 people left there to support the Griz!!!! Players HAVE TO see and NOT hear it too !!!!!

I respect your post: i have never been a spectator, because i was always a player or a coach, and i can assure you, that we need that encouragement , and support. your posting made me look again at the last three teams' attendance, and say (where are their friends). It is vital for a successful program to have fans supporting Their efforts. Even tough guys need compliments.

How can your posts be wise and funny at the same time? love it!

not being there at the start of the third qtr says two things for me 1. we could charge more for tickets, because price to see the game is not that important ...2. people think more of alcohol and getting drunk than they do of supporting the team....it's a sad state of affair imo.....

I was guilty at EWU game. Plan to stay a little closer to my seats on Saturday. Go Griz!

My biggest pet peeves:
1) cat people
2) stepping in dog shit and not realizing it until you get into the car
3) suggestions that the team did not play well because fans were late coming back to their seats
4) fans who don’t know the difference between the words “loose” and “lose.”
5) suggestions that I’m a bad fan because I like to party
