Failed Wiz Quiz

Got a buddy of mine up at MSU who said the rumor floating around the Cats locker room was that a couple of guys failed their tinkle test coming back from spring break, most notably Tanner Roderick and Brian Flotkoetter.
Any ideas as to what the repercussions are for an in-house failed drug test? What would you guys do if it were a player here at UM?

There are privacy issues with all of that so if they failed a test, we will never know. Typically it takes at least 3 failed tests before an athlete can be suspended. Don't know if schools have the option to suspend players after the first failed test. Nothing will come of this, and nothing should come of this.....if true

I seriously doubt this story is true. A little known fact is that Coach Ron Ash was a journalism major and before getting into coaching worked for a short time with "High Times" magazine in the late 70's. As a result, Coach Ash has most of his "fighting bobcats" on a regular diet of pickle juice and niacin.

How in the hell does it take 3 failed tests to suspend a kid. I'm sure a bus driver doesn't get 3. It is illegal. If it isn't that big of deal it shouldn't be illegal. ILLEGAL. I bet there would be a lot less of this shit going on if they booted you immediately. Kids will be kids my ass. This story may or may not be true, I'm sure we'll never know. However, this pussification hand holding going on has to stop. If it's not a big enough deal to punish a person for it, it shouldn't be illegal.

If this were a Griz player it would've been in the Times, ESPN, etc......oh ya the MIssoulian.

I'm told that these guys are going to be serving a one game suspension, most likely for the Arkansas State or Black Hills game.

I have failed a lot of tests in my day, pregnancy, math, pop quizzes, but never failed a piss test.

:coffee:

I passed a piss test in college. The rugby team told me I had to kneel down and piss over a box car. I succeeded. BTW, I like the new auto signature with 1% patch. Isn't that some sort of
Outlaw Biker thing?

Well as I recall within a short time of MD's start it took one to get tossed................... Can't remember the two kids names. Dorm incident as I recall. The one kids sister came on here to "explain"

Getting busted for possession in the dorms is not the same thing as a failed mandatory drug test.

Both schools testing and penalty rules are on their respective athletic websites. The NCAA is even dropping their first time offender penalty from 1 year to 6 months this fall.

Put your money on Black Hills St.; ASU set the standard for suspension game selection....
