Does anyone think that trying to come back later in games, throwing lots of passes, stopping the clock as much as possible, and not having much time between plays, increases play count? I do. Like in EWU and Weber games, which happen to be the highest play count games of the year.

So your'e saying that it would contradict this statement, "As the play count goes up our success goes up." ?

Not necessarily. Maybe with play count around 80, for FCS games, UM's success is higher than it would have been if the play count had been 70. But, I'm not a play count guy or expert, so I don't follow or care about play count.

I think it's a bogus stat to follow, Stitt seemed obsessed with it early on. Doesn't talk about it as much anymore in the media.
