EWU Quote on Brady

Thought this said a lot about some of the differences we have all been chatting about:

. . . Raynes said he wasn’t surprised that Gustafson got the start – “He’s the better quarterback,” said Raynes - but who added that he was surprised at Gustafson’s ability to look off receivers and then deliver a strike.

Again, Brady has a great command, a deep level of understanding, and ability to go through the progressions and sit in the pocket. This makes him a very good fit in a very cerebral offense.

Apparently, EWU prepared for the Simis-Griz and got blindsided by BG-Griz. When Simis came in, things got more predictable for EWU.

Great point... Hence Simis being a 3rd string QB right now

 Yeah, more predictable. As in, we're going to run out the clock by running the ball. Real tough to figure that one out...

Brady's played in 4 games - two when the other team didn't know exactly what to prepare for, and two when they apparently did. Two games Brady and the O did well, and two they really didn't.

Can Stitt and Brady break the pattern at MSU?

Well, maybe it's an advantage as Brady has minimal games for anyone to really look at. Stitt hasn't run his style since the injury. That same thought seemed to really throw Ewoo off (where are their trolls).
Prukop has been in all year. Yeah there's always wrinkles but...
I think their also a little beat up, its still Kitten week so anythings possible like the Lions beating the Pack in Lambeau.

Yeah, I pretty much restated / elaborated upon the question you posed: can they do it 2 games in a row? Though the Cats D is not on par with Cal Poly and Liberty, so you'd think it should be easier this time.
