can't find if it is televised anywhere, anybody know differently?

This game should be pretty entertaining. EWU may hang with them.

It looks like you will be able to watch the game online @ the Nevada website; however, it looks like you have to pay to watch it. The cheapest option looks like $10.95 for 1 month's access to their site.

that doesn't seem like a drubbing?? but FACK Eastern!! I have no respect for them anymore since their admin. showed their true asshole colors!!

EWU was hanging tough, a big 82 yard TD reception for Jones, but now Nevada has scored again, it's 35-10. Jones ripped off a 72 yard run, so they're knocking on the door again.

Nevada for being such a running power is cutting up EWU in the air, granted it's against a much more superior team but Nevada could be exposing EWU once again unable to stop the pass. Tough to say for sure considering the matchup.

TD EWU now, it's 35-17.

I think it's fairly safe to say that our secondary is not our strength this year. But, Nevada did hang 70 on Idaho last year......so, their offense is pretty darn good.

At least Taiwan is making some plays, though.

Jones is proving he's the most electric player in the Big Sky already

7 rushes 118 yards
1 reception 82 yards and 1 TD
4 kick returns 85 yards

So 200 yards on offense, 285 all purpose yards on the game, averaging 24 yards per touch.

He is doing this against a solid Nevada team. Yet according to a certain egriz poster he is not worthy of being preseason all american, over rated, and not as talented as we think he is. Anyone remember who that poster was? Well he is going by an alias now, and cannot wait for one of his aliases say Nevada just is not that good and they made T Jones look good.

Someone help me, who was down on Jones? :thumb:

Nevada's defense is nothing special - they were one of the worst last year. That said, considering the FBS vs FCS matchup it isn't much of an excuse, in theory Nevada should be far superior to EWU.

Ohh... fumble EWU, Nevada now in the EWU red-zone, Eastern was pinned on their 1 yard line but thanks to some big plays by Jones they were moving, but now a fumble could cost them the game.

And while I typed that, TD Nevada, 42-24.

Unfortunately, Mitchell isn't looking too spectacular in this opening game. He's had several wide open receivers that he's missed. I don't know if it's just first game nerves, but he just isn't on the same page as his receivers. Taiwan is Taiwan and will make big plays on anyone, but our special teams and that turnover lost us the game. Our defense actually hasn't played too bad, especially in the second half.

That turnover on downs should do it.

EWU should be fairly confident though coming out of this, I mean take away just flubbing the first two drives (big kickoff return, quick NV TD, 3 and out with a 10 yard punt, another quick NV TD) and this is a ball game the whole way.

EWU's going to be firing on all cylinders come the Griz game after next week's tune-up against C Wash over in Seattle.

Special teams and a turnover lost you that game? You're getting blownout and it's not even over yet.

Both of these teams stink.

Yep, TD Nevada, they've got nearly 350 passing yards, pretty good for a run-heavy team. This could be EWU's weakness... yet again.

It's 49-24, just about 3:30 left.

I called 45-29 and a game that was close for a long time, looks like I was fairly close! :thumb:

I thought it was pretty weak that Nevada threw it on 4th and 15 for that last TD. But hey, I guess that they have to make it look like they dominated us......which they didn't. I think we'll be alright in the BSC, anyway. :thumb:

Whatever, dude. Seriously, have you ever been right about anything?
