EWU installing new FB/BB video scoreboards

Did I really read that Spokane supposedly has more "civility" than Missoula? LOL Thanks for the chuckle.

Also UM's enrollment is at an all-time high (15,669 fall 2011), not lower than 5 years ago. UM topped 15,000 in 2010 for the first time. So that is pure BS. UM's enrollment is a runway train. There is no room for any more students, but the numbers keep going up. Kids have to sleep in study-lounges because the dorms are completely packed every year. We are not in the middle of a prairie, we can't just build more dorms in the next field over. There is a serious parking shortage on campus too. The argument that UM will receieve a "backlash" in enrollment next fall is wishful thinking on Griz haters part. My $ is on enrollment being UP again or just about the same, like it is every year. There will be more kids who don't attend UM next fall because they can't find housing (or don't want to live in a study lounge with 7 others) than those who were scared off by the "football scandal". Declining enrollment is the last thing UM needs to worry about. A few less would be much needed, imo.

EWU has the exact same issues that you mention U of M having (well except the investigations from the feds). New dorm building being built right now, apartments complexes all expanding quickly, parking is a huge issue, enrollment up over 12,000 now and still growing...

Since you mentioned the comparison of Missoula and Spokane..if the two are so comparible, then why do more people live in Spokane? Why are wages higher in Spokane? Why do so many Montana grads move to Spokane to make a living? Spokane offers everything that Missoula offers and more. Except the granola crunching hippies and tree huggers I guess...
