EWU’s Cooper Kupp may be headed to NFL

He'd be crazy not to go....for so many reasons. He can always come back and get a degree at any time. He's projected as a mid-round pick this year and by playing next year he could risk injury or perhaps not have as good a season and drop in the draft. Take the money! Oh, and like Brint said, then our Griz don't have to face him anymore. All kidding aside Cooper is a phenomenal talent and deserves all the accolades he has received. I will be a big fan of his in the NFL...unless he lands with the Jets or Pats. Then I will hate him like the rest of those bums.

Kupp is such a beast. Did anyone else hold their breath damn near every pass play last Saturday?

Here's an amazing thought...If Kupp goes, the Big Sky is looking at 4 potential draft picks this year: Kupp, Tyrone Holmes, James Cowser and Darnell Sankey

Jamal Jones is a potential draft pick as well. I am hearing he could be drafted late.

Yeah ... pretty much.

I hope Kupp gets his shot and does not end up like Kaufmann. Leaving early and nothing happens

He's not in liberal studies, or some other BS degree program. Economics major, 3.52 gpa.

So you're saying an economics major is not typically considered part of a liberal arts curriculum?

It's a Bachelor of Science degree. A lot of math involved. Good on him. Good luck Cooper! I'm glad you aren't going to be around to torment the Griz defense anymore! I for one will always root for you wherever you land. You have been a real class act.
"A lot of math involved" in an economics major. Hilarious. I could laugh along with Crittenden at that one. And any of the MSU engineering majors....

Good riddance, I say. He makes the big bucks, we get to breathe when Griz play EWU next year.
We did a lot of breathing when we played EWU this year.

Did I compare it to engineering or Chemistry? No. Why be a douche?

At UM, Econ requires:

ECNS 301 - Intermediate Micro with Calc 3 Credits
ECNS 302 - Intermediate Macroeconomics 3 Credits
ECNS 403 - Introduction to Econometrics 4 Credits

Which are all "math-centric."

One third of the credit requirements are directly in math.

M 115 - Probability and Linear Math 3 Credits
M 162 - Applied Calculus 4 Credits
STAT 216 - Introduction to Statistics 4 Credits

"Non-economics courses required for the undergraduate degree are: M 115, M 162 and STAT 216 or equivalent. M 162 must be taken before ECNS 301. STAT 216 must be taken before ECNS 403. Students may prefer to take the two-course sequence M 171 and M 172 instead of M 162. Students planning graduate study in economics should take M 171 and M 172 and consider M 221, M 307 and ECNS 511, 513 and 560."

If there was a question...I think it's answered with a 6-5 season and 3 game losing streak to end the season.

5-6 for the Cats. Another losing season. They have been, and always will be, lil' bro losers.

My apologies either way.
