Even cats fans hate the cats....

Saw an avid cat fan in town 3 days ago sporting his cat gear as he does most of the time, but an NDSU hat on his head. Sorry no picture but "C'mon man"
 
Maybe it is an act of contrition and repentance in an attempt to get out of purgatory? Playing football alone hasn't done a whole lot to help their cause. Lord knows any bit of sacrifice to the FCS Gods couldn't hurt. Next thing you know they'll be shouting ESCGBG and burning Cat effigies...

Believe it or not, the whole thing makes sense to me. This is why cat fans are able to claim so many mythical national championships. With this, they can honestly say they are fans of both the preseason national champ and the actual national champ.

The ones they have already won by the end of Spring Camp, which are in addition to the ones already won by the end of Recruiting Season.
