Now I know that someone said that ESPN or ESPN2 would televise the playoffs, and I'm sure they will. But apparently not in Australia. I'm not sure how it works, but I think that the Australian ESPN gets "the best of" ESPN & ESPN2, and the 1-AA games aren't considered to be that. Anyone know anyone that works for ESPN that can have a whinge for me?

On the Griz though, good win today. I'd felt a little disheartened after the past 2 games, but my spirits are back up, and I get to do the crowing at work with my American workmates seen as both their schools lost. Hopefully MSU can beat McNeese, because I'd love a rematch with them, and be able to knock them out of the playoffs.

Were there any injuries today? Unfortnately I missed the game because of the time difference, so I don't know what happened other than we flogged them.

Welcome back, Daniel. ESPN or ESPN2 will be televising the playoffs starting at the quarterfinals, so the week afternext, Godwilling, you will see the Griz on the tube.
As far as the injuries go, Segars went down to an apparent shoulder injury, but his replacement returned one punt and one kickoff for a touchdown. All in all a loss to be sure, but it is good to know the replacement is not much of a step down. Talmage came back with a special elbow brace and he looked great. I'm not sure if he played much in the second half, but he caught some great passes early on.

You wouldn't have believed it...the crowd in the fourth quarter was chanting, "Go Cats Go". So yeah:

Go ::spit:: Cats Go!

Sportin Life....

Next week is the quarter finals. Or Elite eight. Final four the following weekend is the semis. Did you mean ESPN would televise the semis?

Yeah, I think I meant semis. I understood it would start on Dec. 13th. I'm not 100% sure, though. If anyone has a correction for me, I would welcome it. I'm sure Daniel would too.

I just had a thorough look at the TV guide, and we get 2, 3 and occasionally 4 live NFL games per week, and 2 college games in 3 weeks, as well as college football awards night. No mention what-so-ever of anything to do with playoffs, quarters, semis or finals... let alone 1-AA. Looks like MTGriz.com is going to remain my link, but Unless I stay up all night, its about half-time by the time the site loads (whoever runs the site needs more bandwidth I think... I have high-speed cable and it takes an hour to load).

So thanks anyways, but ESPN International is to blame here.

Does MSU have a site, or is there a site anywhere, that I can listen to the Cats - McNeese game?

And I think that IF Montana is in the semis, they will host it now. The reason is because the #4 seed lost today, and the remaining teams on that side of the bracket(Vilinova/Fordham) are ranked below us, and average >6000 fans per game.

ESPN2 live from WASHINGTON GRIZZZZZZZZ!!!!! One more win Griz! And Missoula will be in the lime-light! What better stadium to showcase 1-AA football to a national audience??????

OK, I don't mean to put a bummer on this if we do make the semi's, but if both games are played at the same time, they can only cover one I'm thinking. I got the link showing only one game scheduled.

Thats for the semifinal game.

Thats for the NC.

Hey guys...quit talking about watching the game on TV and start planning on how you are going to get your butts there!! There is nothing like watching a NC in person...it is worth every penny and more.

It's a great day to be a GRIZ!!

Superior.....We are talking about the Semis....and how Espn2 will carry them....and if the Griz get to the semi's they will host...and how that means espn2 will be live from Missoula!!!!!! Awesome exposure!

I would love to go to the semi's, if you have an extra $2000 you want to send the wife and I so we can get there.

As for the NC....I'll be there if the Griz are.

Ducharme....I wonder if those are written in stone. It does say 1-AA playoffs gm.1. Also on that same day on ESPN they have nothing scheduled from 2-4pm.........so things may still change.

GeauxGriz...Sorry but I don't have an extra $2000...I will be using it for me to go to the game...Being in Denver I have to pay $$$ to watch the Griz play any game.

I agree it will be great exposure...Just have to give you a hard time. :)

If you are in LA...how do you watch the Griz??

Its a great day to be a Griz!

ESPN2 will carry both semi-final games this year. They will be shown on a regional basis

ESPN2 will also carry the National Championship.

A few years ago, we started a semi-final game at 10:00 a.m. to accomodate TV. Maybe they will do the same this year.
