ESPN Games

I notice on my ESPN schedule that the WAC has 5 ESPN games over the next two weeks. They must have over 20 ESPN games a season at that rate.

Anybody know how many ESPN games the Big Sky had this season?

There will be 3 of them this saturday. PSU, NAU, and WSU will be playing in the ESPN bracket busters Saturday.

What is bracket busters Saturday and who are these teams playing?

NAU is playing at Tulsa.
WSU is at Boise State.
PSU is at Middle Tennessee State.

Here is a description about the Bracket Buster Saturday:

The Bracket Buster Saturday (BBS) series is a concept developed by ESPN in conjunction with a group of conference commissioners prior to the 2002-03 basketball season. The 2005 event will be the third for ESPN. ESPN’s commitment to the series continues to increase with the network adding another national cablecast with six games on ESPN or ESPN2, in addition to five more produced for ESPN Full Court and regional distribution on Saturday, February 19.

There are 64 teams, and not all games are on tv. From further research, the NAU-Tulsa game is not on TV. So, the PSU and WSU games are the only two that have a chance of being on tv. And I don't have the time, nor do I want to take the time to research it, because I certainly am not going to sit on my butt watching college Basketball on tv no matter who it is. I do not dwell on the Griz or Big Sky Schools being on ESPN as much as some fans do. Watching the Griz at home is much more fun than on a TV tube.
