I have been getting on eGriz for years to read up and get my griz fix but never created an account or wanted to post until now.
Why all this disloyalty towards our coach? Was the game disappointing? Sure. But Bob Stitt is one of the most innovative coaches in the nation and we are lucky to have him. How many coaches can say they beat NDSU in the last 7 or 8 years? Not many but Stitt can!
Everyone is mad that we have had some more trouble with the conference games in recent years but that is because the conference has gotten WaY better. The years we ran over everyone the conference was weak. Look at some of our playoff seasons. Roll through the big sky only to find out that we didn't have it come playoff time. Obviously that wasn't always the case but now the conference is much more competitive.
If we lose Stitt we set ourselves back years and what if the next coach is horrible? Its too risky. have some freakin loyalty! We just had a great game against a perennial FCS powerhouse. It didn't go our way but we had a shot to win it. What else can we ask for?
