Engstrom Sitting on Coaches' Contracts

The contracts for Tinkle and Selvig have been sitting on Engstrom's desk for many months, and perhaps as much as a year. Selvig apparently didn't have a contract until it was signed a week or so ago. Perhaps this explains why Pflugrad's 3-year contract hadn't been signed.

Could it be RE procrastinates or has trouble making descisions. Maybe Pat Williams and others werent available to tell him what to do.

Or maybe he want's to let them know who's boss. He may be into control as much as Dennison.

Or maybe he wanted to wait until after "basketball coach recruiting season" Prolly not an issue with Robin but with Wayne not so much - hes prime to move on. Some consideration of that is pretty cool.....

Engstrom never gave O'Day a review. O'Day hadn't had a review since Dennison. Engstrom was relatively high on the accomplishments of the athletic department at a meeting held several days before the firings.
