You are probably correct and my response would be, "Please bring him back." This statement comes from a fan that never liked Bobby's style. Obviously I am just dense given his record at the U of M. The last two years have put things in perspective. Note to Haslam. Pray UNLV does not extend his contract and pick up the damn phone.

Bobby isn't coming back. If he is .500 or better especially. UNLV made great half time adjustments last night, one of his best skills. I predict he lands at least an assistants job at a big time program. I can't stand him but the guy can coach.

We never hire the best head coach we hire the best friend of a booster and it keeps us mired in mediocrity. We play in a horrible, shi*ty soft conference and can barely keep our head above water. Keep lying to yourselves about the rest of the conference getting better the fact is we have slid back to the pack in a watered down FCS we still cannot be the big fish.

You guys deserve average

Agree with the hiring methods. I don't blame Delaney though, he's over his head. I blame the moron that hired him and didn't go looking for a quality coach to build the program. There are some good coaches in the BSC, but with they way we hire and what we pay, we may never get one.

I must not have been paying attention, that was MD playing LB who couldn't get off blocks all game, MD who fumbled which lead to 2 tds, MD who played with no emotion while getting "curb stomped"? Was that MD playing the soft pass defense of yester year? :shock:

I would take Bobby back but that most likely will not happen. Shoot make the call to VanDiest. As many have said Delaney is a great old guy. He may be a great position coach. He is not a head coach. I can only hope AD can see and understand this. Make Grag or another interim coach to finish the season.

We CAN NOT have another loosing season. Not with just coming out of the off field issues and a loosing season last year. If we have a loosing season this year and Delaney is still coach everyone will expect more of the same.

Look UM is taking steps to clean up the program. Delaney has aided in that certainly. But UM needs to make that next move and get in a head coach and staff that can coach to win.

You are virtually never objective. All we ever get from you is your holier-than-thou opinion. And, FWIW, quite a few of us think you are an idiot.

From what I heard he did in fact play the game. I hear he played, End, Guard and Tackle. He sat on the "End" of the bench, had to "Guard" the water tank and "Tackle" anyone that got close to it. :thumb:

I like Van Diest, but he would be a poor choice. I don't think anybody on the staff right now is ready to be a head coach yet.
