Eastern Wash vs Indiana...wow

Always great to see a Big Sky team taking down a biggie. Haven't seen that since Weber St. took out North Carolina back in, what was it?..1999? Won a six-pack off it, though. Happy Holidays.

Soooo, you missed UM beating UCLA a few years back? Granted, it wasn't the UCLA of old, but still a win over a biggie.

Damn, how could I forget that. Well, on second thought, it was the very same season that the Griz lost to EWU when they were 9-18 and shoulda, coulda and all that. After that lost it was a complete forget that season kind of deal so everything of it got stuffed in the hamper. Didn't the Griz beat Stanford on their home court as well, acouple years preceeding?

Yup, beat them in their own tournament on a David Bell last second three. Also kicked the living shit out of them in Missoula a few years late the season we beat Nevada in the tournament.

Always like seeing a Big Sky team down a big or at least a team from one of the "big" conferences like that. Indiana wasn't great last year, but were 4-0 so far this year. Also not too long ago (2012-2013) they were a #1 seed in the tournament! HUGE Win for EWU and great for the Big Sky!
 
this game was one of those wtf moments at first blush. Indiana losing at home in Assembly Hall? But it was the perfect opportunity for ewoo, the Hoosiers are in a serious cluster, players and coaches alike, the casual fan is losing interest while the die hards are ticked. good for ewoo for the win.
