Those long posts about bleachers and insurance companies confirmed a couple of things for me (besides making my eyes glaze over) ... Some of you have way too much time to write posts on eGrz and you think you're too clever by half.

Hey, Pot meet Kettle......you're posting at 2:15 in the afternoon; who has too much time on their hands? Go check the timer on the stove......cookies should be done !! And don't forget the boys have soccer practice at four.

Silly Rabbit, I'm a VA disabled veteran who is retired so I have a good reason to be posting at 2:15 in the afternoon. You, on the other hand, are obviously a person who is a total misogynist with no ability to sense sarcasm. Let me try again and see if you have any better luck detecting it here....Gee, as a woman who posts on sports forums, I've never heard references to baking or being a soccer mom used as insults, you're so original!

This confirms two things for me: (1) You are under the impression that those posts take more time/effort than they do; and (2) You must be a horrible multitasker.

Why get tickets and go to the worst stadium in the West.
Texas high schools have much better facilities!
If you are bound for the game be sure to take sunglasses with you.
That is beyond an ugly field to watch a game on.
Wait and watch the game Eastern plays with msu.
Now that will be ugly no matter who wins.
And no fat lady will be allowed to sing as they are all on the O-line .....both sides!
Not sure about that anymore, after watching the Eastern SUU game I think there maybe better middle school stadiums than what SUU has.

FYI, besides the player pass tickets, MSU gave Eastern a total of 75 tickets for EWU/MSU game( thru the EAA) in September. All the rest of the fans had to go thru the MSU ticket office at $40/seat. And most all of those tickets were scattered through out the stadium. But it was EPIC and FUN. Stay home and watch on ROOT, or pony up $45 and bitch about the cost, I know it sux, but ECON 101, supply and demand. Hope you all come over for the BSC championship game. Griz fans have always been great and fun!

And it's HannahO for the win.

Why not play at Joe Albie Stadium? Then we could all go and enjoy two good football programs play.

Because EWU doesn't want the Griz fans to outnumber the Eagles fans, as used to occur when they played in Joe Albi.

Certainly true in the past, but these days it has more to do with other things. Namely, the students don't want the games there. There are typically 3-4k students at every game, and that number would surely go down playing games at Albi. Also, I doubt the team wants to play a home game anywhere other than their home "turf", and when you are drawing crowds of 11k + for an average home game in a stadium that really only has about 9k or so permanent seats you probably don't want to mess with those dynamics much. The real solution is that Roos Field needs around 5 or 6 thousand more seats.

The only way that would work is if UM and EWU agreed to play the game at Joe Albi every year as a neutral site. Similar to the Red River Rivalry being played at the Cotton bowl in Dallas. I seriously doubt that will EVER happen.

I noticed that you put "turf" in quotation marks and I was hoping that was a subtle hint at some kind of insider knowledge that your team may someday get an actual football field instead of playing on HannaO's used maxipad...? False hope?

Top 10 upgrades needed at Roos Field:

1. Replace turf with green field turf.

2. Replace turf with green field turf.

3. Replace turf with green field turf.

4. Replace turf with green field turf.

5. Replace turf with green field turf.

6. Replace turf with green field turf.

7. Replace turf with green field turf.

8. Replace turf with green field turf.

9. Add 25 times more shitters and concession areas.

10. Upgrade existing stands by replacing with Mead Junior High's 1977 bleacher installation project (which have been mothballed in storage for the last 19 years due to being outdated).
