Eagles Add Nevada Transfer and Tenino Letter of Intent Signee
Eastern Washington University head football coach Paul Wulff has announced the addition of two players to his program -- University of Nevada transfer Jordan Edwards and Johnny Hanson from Tenino, Wash., High School.
Edwards, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker, played the last two seasons for the Wolf Pack. He finished with 10 tackles in five games as a sophomore, and had four tackles in six games as a freshman. He graduated from West Linn, Ore., High School.
Hanson, a 6-3, 230-pound defensive lineman, signed a letter of intent with the Eagles. He earned All-Southwestern Washington North Division honors as a senior. Tenino finished the year 1-8, including a 91-0 loss to Elma in the most lopsided 11-man score in state history. He will join Elma's Todd Basler and Larry Raynes as teammates at EWU.
Born Sept. 15, 1984 in Auburn, Wash., Hanson intends to major in physical therapy at EWU.
