Duke has hired Michigan State hoops coach Joanne "Coach P" McCallie to replace COY Gail Goestenkors, who bolted for Texas. McCallie comes to Duke after signing a MSU contract extension/raise a month ago. Man, it's amazing how people can go back on their word like this. Anyways, Duke was impressed by how McCallie "raised MSU to a new level," another use of a bloody sports cliche. Her nickname refers to her maiden name, Palombo.
