Drama in the Griz Ball Family

Ha! This officially trumps my post about Criswell!!! I will tell you this much, if Martin had decided to go it wouldn't be now, after he just had the 2 biggest games of his career.

My post regarding Criswell was simply the product of an ovely paranoid player @ Western, maybe we have a couple of those on the Griz roster?????

This the dumbest thing ive ever seen im my entire life. Matt Martin is not gonna transfer to an ACC school. First off what ACC school would take him? Doesnt this kid see where the Griz are headed. Hamilton Griz this post is ridicoulos.

COACH MONTE GETS TRANSFER FROM MASCOT MONTE. :o :o

Players were seen arguing over who was going to the warriors and who was going to play in the NCAA Tournament.

Former Montana coach and Golden State Warriors Coach had "no comment" Saturday when asked about rumors started on the internet and soon to be published in the local Hamilton paper the Ravalli Republic .
 
Actually talked to Martin and he really does think he can play at an ACC school. He isn't going to transfer to one, even though he told me that he had some connections at North Carolina State. He is playing well as of the last two games but he thinks he is bigger then the Big Sky, his words.

Who , Where, and When do the Griz play in the NCAA or should we ask Hamilton Grizzly and The Insider and get the real truth. I am not sure we can trust CBS now that Dan Rather is gone. These two can produce the documents. :o :o
 
If the guy thinks that, you really can't blame him. Big Sky Basketball is not very good, 3rd worst RPI in the Country I read somewhere. Heck I wonder if any Big Sky team could even crack the top 10 in the California JC's?

The Big Sky does have the 3rd worst RPI in the country (I wish the Griz would move to the WAC), however, the Griz will probably get a 15 seed due to their RPI being better than a few of the teams in the NCAA tournament. Not only that the Griz finished the season very hot which I imagine will help their seeding in the NCAA Tournament. The Griz and PSU were the only two teams in the Big Sky to end up with a RPI better than 200. Unfortunately, other than PSU and the Griz, the rest of the Big Sky was WAAAY down on the RPI list. According to teamrankings.com Montana's RPI is 159 right now, PSU is 174. Every other team is 220 or worse (Weber 220, MSU 267, EWU 281, SAC 286, NAU 295, ISU 311).

As for Martin leaving. I very seriously doubt that's going to happen. Why would he leave a team that's obviously making improvements & will be in the NCAA tournament this year, to go play for a team in the ACC and have a very small chance of actually seeing the court? I'm not saying that Martin isn't a good player, and that he wont be a great point guard for the Griz, I'm just saying that this really doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I also haven't seen this "ego" that you claim Martin has. He's been a unselfish player this year (Leading the Griz in Assists) & is a true competitor. At least the Criswell rumor was from a reliable poster who had a source that was a player on the team Criswell was thought to be transferring to. I'm glad that rumor turned out to be false. This rumor sounds like it has absolutely no truth to it at all.

The only two people even mentioning that Martin said that he could play in the ACC are a brand new poster (Hamilton Grizzly), and another poster who claims to have 'punked' Andrew Strait when he played against him, and claims to play for a college team that would beat the Griz (TheInsider). Not too reliable in my opinion.

Maybe Martin does think he could play in the ACC, but I seriously doubt he's said anything like that to the two posters in question, and I seriously doubt he's thinking about transferring.
 
:-? The success of the GRIZ this year has certainly brought out some nuts. New posters with breaking developments :-? and other questionable posters from the past ("punked Andrew Strait") :wink: Yeah, right.
 
What are u saying about Strait?? Are u saying that he is punk? in my opinion Strait is gonna be a great Griz and a team leader. He will start next year
 
Played against Strait in a summer league setting. He was HORRIBLE! Turns out that he is the type of player that is terrible in the open gym type setting. He is the type that really excells in the "system" setting. Ask any player, Griz included, about Strait in open gyms. I really thought he wouldn't do well here, but he really did, surprisingly. I hope Andrew the best and really think that coach K will fit his style and he will do exceptionally well.

Like I said, I'm an insider, very inside the team...if not on it...

:o :o My my there are some folks out there who are really jealous of a little Mens Basketball success. 1 time poster 5 time poster wimpypuzzeled. Today is Selection Sunday. 4 pm cbs. Do not waste your time reading this thread. Georgia Tech plays in Conference Tournament Championship today. Illinois plays Wisc. Texas Tech plays Oklahoma State . If you are reading this thread you are aiding the enemy and you might want to be watching the games and filling out your brackets. Internet has a good bracket print out after 4 pm. CBS is where I got it last year. Please do not respond to this thread and let it sink to the bottom or put a lock on it. Sorry this is a fillibuster but this thread is on top and I would like to see it get no response and sink to the bottom out of sight. :o :o Start a new thread or take this one to the smack board or lock it up.
