TBH, I just don't think TD has done a good job recruiting pure shooters. All these so-called good shooters don't get worse after getting to UM, they get exposed at the college level.

Almost any 3 a player would take with someone in their face would be a low percentage shot. Taking a three with someone in your face is a bad shot. Just about every 3 that is taken in college basketball is an open shot that is usually the result of good ball movement.

Pretty much the whole point of offense in the new era is to get those wide open 3 point shots. Even Curry and Young who might shoot an acceptable percentage closely guarded. Watching when Vasquez actually got some PT he was deadly when squared up and ready for the pass. When guarded or on the move not in the same universe.
