Don't laugh I have to ask..

NCAA started last year to give a little input into bracketing teams in the tournament. Or maybe get a team into the tournament. Maybe???????????????????????????? See how conferences match up? NAU had a game last year but was having a bad year. So that was not good.

And Montana has a shot at one of these games??

Montana is in the bracket buster this year. Last year NAU and 1 other team from the conference were in and really fouled up the year ending schedule. I think somewhere in this forum some one went over a lot of that wondering who MT would play so maybe MT is hosting which makes for good if true.

I believe 3 teams, NAU, PSU, and WSU, were in the bracket buster last year.

I would love to see quality talent come to missoula so the Griz can prove to us and themselves how good or how not good they really are. This bracket buster game gives a chance to do so...

That's why it is crucial that the Griz perform well in their out of conference schedule, which they've done so far.

The Griz don't have an overly strong OOC schedule, but it's strong enough that if the Griz go on to dominate the BSC schedule that it might sway the NCAA Committee to take a longer look at Montana before dumping them as a 15 or 16 seed should they make it to the Big Dance.

A win at Drake tomorrow would be a nice, though not a power win. And if the Griz can win at Santa Clara (a strong WCC team), that would help as well.

But not playing a ranked team in the OOC schedule will hurt their chances of getting anything above a 13 seed, no matter what they do from here on out.

Still, it's too early to be talking about this seeding nonsense with the entire conference schedule to play. It's been common for BSC teams that have dominated their OOC schedule to flop in conference play. And vice versa.
