Does anyone remember????

I know this is the Fball forum, but does anyone remember Niko (spelling?) Harris??? He was a BBall player for the Cats, very very good? Good student as well. He played around the same time Spojia played. I believe it was around the 94 through 95 era when he became a Senior. Give or take one year.

Sorry, he must've been around before I moved here. The only former Cats player I can name is Craig Kilborn. Why do you ask?

yep, I remember him. 6'5" or so, small forward/2 guard. Wasn't it Harrison though?

Name rings a bell. that is all I can tell you. And the name is Nico Harrison as grizfnz mentioned.

Nico was legit. As much as I hate the cats that is one guy that I have respected and almost ruited for when the griz take on the cats. Nico was a great player and I enjoyed watching him play. Another remember when.....Isreal Evans. Griz forward, what a player he was and with him quitting came the downfall of griz hoops.

Ahh, but i see sun in the horizon. I know we didn't have a fantasic year, but i think the team is on the upswing. I didn't see official numbers but it was quite clear that general admission seats were harder to come by and the parking lot was way more crowded. The prior year a guy(or gal) could show up at 6:55 for a 7pm game and get a decent seat....not this year.

I couldn't agree with you more. GrizBBall is finally on the up and up. It was a sad few years and I could barely stand to watch. It was flat embarrasing
I am extremely excited for griz hoops in the years to come under coach Kennedy and Tinkle.

Look for me standing by the south basket with about 4 of my fellow beligerent jackasses as we heckle the night away to some Griz basketball action. I expect a big improvement from last year. We're going to have talent across the board. It should be fun.
