At Cheney Kamarr Davis and Kevin Criswell played well. 18 and 16 pts. Lamarr Farr was out with injury. Axton did not shoot very well. Griz had big advantage at the line shooting 26-32. Griz trailed by 5 at the five minute mark and won by ten after trailing the entire second half by 3-5. Will take a solid or better game to win with Eastern trying to get in the playoffs. Crowd may not show until Sat. Eastern played well at Portland State 70-71.

Good point! The GRIZ have lost their last 2 and should not overlook anyone. Eastern whomped us at Dahlberg last year. I think KECI or KPAX said Lynch broke his finger at Sac and would be out 3 or 4 weeks (AKA the rest of the season).

Eastern was lights out against Idaho State this last Saturday, they hit something like 15 or 16 threes. They are sure a lot better of a team at this point in the season then when the Griz played them last. As always they seem to peak at the right time.

I do not want to go into the details about Lynch's injury but it was silly how it happened. He showed a lack of discipline which not only will end his season but possibly (unlikely) hurt the Griz team's title chances. I say this because he has played a limited role and Matthews will step in with little or no dropoff.

I was actually at the scene where Lynch broke his finger. It was an ugly deal, he was actually defending himself but should have left IMHO.
