While racist, I don’t believe the administration made the decision to change the name for that reason.

Also, is the goal of ending some racism to end all racism, or perhaps just making the world incrementally less racist and a better place?

Racism is a sin, it will always be around. Changing a schools nickname will not change a thing.

Well, it will ... for some people. For them, perception IS reality, and this is a lot about perception.

Of course, on the "business" side, this makes sense too.
