As it is right now, hopefully we will get a #4 seed in the playoffs (only two home games) and maybe we won't even get the #4 seed. We could be the #5 seed in the old system (before regionalization) and that would mean we wouldn't have to face the #1 team until the semi-final game. But since we have regionalization most likely we will have to travel to McNeese St. for a quarterfinal game, just like last year.
That means the NDSU loss cost us two home playoff games and we would have to face stronger teams earlier in the playoffs.
There is no way in hell that you can convince me that "the loss to NDSU is going to hurt you much, if at all."
