The plays were there today. Drops, fumbles, and sneed missing wide open receivers cost the Griz today. I don’t think there’s much a coach can do outside of putting his players in position to win. The players did not execute well at all today, and this is the outcome. Don’t overlook that we have 16 freshmen on our two deep right now and we’re 4-2. The world is not over. This was a very bad loss but not necessarily the end of the season. One game at a time. On to North Dakota. Go Griz!
I'm not big on excuses regarding execution. If you're paid to win games, you had better win games. Period.
I don’t disagree and Hauck has to answer at the end of the day, however, there are holes all over this roster and the team is extremely young. We’ve undergone so many coaching changes the last dam decade that the end result is where we currently find ourselves; A team with an identity crisis, but we have a leader at the helm who is a proven commodity. This is a top notch staff, and they will produce wins. I firmly believe that with this coaching staff we can get this program back to where it was, but for once, we Griz fans have got to be patient. Give him a freaking year at the least to upgrade the trenches befor you write the guy off.
