Because espn owns the rights to only 1 of those games. Kirk 99% of the time works the prime time game that ESPN owns. That’s the South Carolina game. The other ESPN game is the Oregon state game but it’s the late night game. He won’t do that game.

Also the Ohio state game is day game.

Why would Kirk, the primetime commentator, be commenting #16 Auburn at unranked South Carolina?

Oregon at Utah or Michigan State at Ohio State are more likely.

If it's Utah, quick flight to Salt Lake.
If Columbus, not unreasonable on a private jet to get there by evening.


Missoula's biggest GameDay competitors if the Griz win today will be Salt Lake City and Columbus, prob moreso the former.

Most of the season he flies on a private jet, logistics regarding flights are the least of their concern. Only issue he has had in the past is when he does multiple games on the same day and one of them runs longer than expected... Go Griz!!

How is it not a logistical issue? Gameday gets over at noon eastern time. That means from the last second on set he has 7 hours til game time. He has to be at the stadium by 6. So that means he has 6 hours to get to the airport jump on the PJ fly all the way to SC. Get in a car and get over to the stadium. It’s about a 4.5 hour flight on a PJ. That’s cutting it very close. Soooo yeahhh it’s a logistical issue

What part of private jet did you miss ... even if he has 6 hours to make the game that should be about 2.5 more hours then he needs even with the private car that's picking him up when he arrives....

And like I said earlier in this thread, private jets fly faster than commercial airliners.
