...how cordial and tame the boobcant fans were at the tailgates/game? It was weird, like they already knew they were going down and so they did not talk near as much trash as usual. I spoke to many of them and they all basically said, "griz are going to kill us." I don't think i spoke to a single one that thought they would win and there were not as many loudmouth jackasses as usual.

I'm not the kind of guy that bitches about bad treatment in Bozo; quite the opposite actually. I love the tension in the air that is usually present. But it was not there on saturday and I kinda missed it. Seemed like it was missing on the field too. I saw a lot of players from both sides helping each other up, pats on back, not many scraps, lots of respect, etc.

I don't know if this is good or bad??? Seriously, what fun is it picking on little bro if he doesn't get upset?

It was the EXACT same way in Missoula last year. I thought the tension outside Wash/Griz was at an all-time low give the season the Griz were having and the fans not thinking they had much of a chance against the Cats. Fortunately, the Griz didn't have that attitude in the game last year. They fought their guts out, and the Cats did the same on Saturday.

Interestingly, for all the "NoClass" stuff being posted on BN, including by some Griz fan who is claiming assaults and other rediculous stuff, I've thought the last two Cat-Griz games were the two most mild-mannered games in my 20-plus years of being around/involved in it.
