So I posted this in another forum but I know this one gets way more traffic and I just wanted to share with everyone.

And that’s a wrap folks. What an amazing career. Delene broke or tied the career marks in games played, doubles, and RBI’s(tied). She finished 2nd all time in hits and homers. She finished 3rd all time in runs and at bats. She will probably be remembered as the founder and cornerstone to the Montana program years and years down the road. Congrats Delene and hats off to you. Thank you for all your dedication. Once a Griz, always a Griz!

She’s also the only Griz to start in every single game in the programs four year history. A 4x all con selection(1 HM, 2x 2nd team, one 1st team). Will be a two time regional selection also after finishing only behind Oregon’s and Washington’s SS’s last year. A fond farewell to one of the greatest players to play the game in our con and beyond.

Yep, an amazing player that deserves every accolade. Also, the title of this thread would make a good header for an episode of "Downton Abbey"...
