Defer to the 2nd half

I found it interesting watching the Sunday night game between NE and Indy as
Bellechek is quoted as saying that he likes to defer when he wins the coin flip because it gives them the opportunity to score to end the first half and then receive the 2nd half kick off and score again. (Exactly what they did tonight by the way).
With arguably the best offense and best QB in the NFL, Bellechek likes to defer when they win the coin toss.
Totally different thought process than Stitt has.
When you also consider the fact that at WGS, the stadium is packed to begin the game and not so much to begin the 2nd half, you would think that Stitt might rethink his opinion of taking the ball when they win the coin flip.

You should always defer, it's simply the polite thing to do. :x :| :x

Most polite is the Delaney approach. Win the toss; elect to defer; then elect to kickoff again in the second half.
