Wow. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a team play better D than what the GRIZ played in the first half. We were fortunate to have the D right in front of us in the first half. I counted 2 individual breakdowns in that 20 minutes. Absolutely unheard of.

Finish tomorrow.

The team is feeding off the energy of the crowd for sure. The Montana Seniors are playing at a very high level as well. The team is playing with tournament intensity right now. 1MORE!

The four guards on the floor to start the game is awesome! The energy that they bring out and the pressure is in incredible. Like the addition of Timmy falls starting, and bringing Dorsey and Manuel off the bench; along with an improving Anderson! Go Griz!

I think that was the best game I've seen a Montana team play, maybe ever. On fire on both sides of the ball. Right up there with the legendary UCLA game. Against a team I felt would be their most formidable opposition in this tournament. A pure joy to watch.

Lamenting the loss of Akoh--and have we ever!--obscured a couple of things: The energy Timmy Falls has brought to this lineup; and the ever-improving play of Mack Anderson. This team is playing not only to win, but to obliterate. Here's hoping that continues tonight.

Agreed. I was sure Braxton and Kozack were going to eat up Mack, Bobby and Donavan down low, but in the end, all they got were a few buckets. Dunno why they didn't look to score more down on the low block when they had the ball. After only watching the game once, I'd say smart positioning by whomever was guarding them and good help defense.
