Defense drive analysis

I posted this on another thread, but thought I would start a new one.

After looking over the box score, defense played really well

7 plays 37 yards
7 plays 32 yards
6 plays 27 yards Field Goal
6 plays 23 yards Touchdown
3 plays 7 yards Touchdown
5 plays 24 yards
3 plays 4 yards
3 plays 1 yard
5 plays 15 yards
4 plays 17 yards
1 play 73 yards
Total 60 plays 259 yards
take away the one big play, had a total of 186 yards for the whole game

Edit, 14 drives averaged 18.5 yards/drive. This includes the one big play of 73 yards.

Griz had 5 drives of over 70 yards each. Amazing when you are -3 in turnovers, and a couple of special team mistakes can really change the game.

The D played very well. 17 of the points given up by the D were largely due to SFUs starting field position. Only 1 BIG miss. Of course, next week will show us lot more about where we are headed. Im hopeful.

excellent information. 1.7 pts per drive, with 7 of those points coming on a 7 yard drive.
