I believe DeCuire stays here until he gets a Power 5 offer. Seeing how the roster is now, I am guessing, that opportunity happens for him no later than after the 2018/19 season. The team loses a lot of talent (Oguine, Rorie, Akoh, and Moorehead) after that season. Pridgett, Nicholas, and Falls will inherit being the team leaders. God willing, Dorsey will be healthy and complete his career here too.

I am not worried about DeCuire leaving for a better paying job at a larger conference school. To me, his successor is already on staff, and one of the brightest young coaches we could ever land. That coach is Chris Cobb. I am confident, Coach Cobb will shine very bright when he gets his chance to be a head coach.

Financially, not really sure how much more Montana can comfortably afford to pay coaches. It will take some time for Bodnar to rebuild student enrollment. Right now, money is too tight to expect more pay to coaches. Either way, #grizfutureisbright

The answer is absolutely not. Gonzaga is the only school to ever do what they have done. Could the Griz keep Decuire around with a decent salary and make them a competitive mid-major sure but no way can they pay him over $1,000,000 and reach Gonzaga Heights.
