Is this real? Why would he come to Montana when he can coach in the pros? This had better be a joke, it is pure poppycock plain and simple.

No. Yes. Wait, what?

Cause it's Super Dave, and he is awesome! And the Griz is his identity/destiny. Duh.

Just on you!

Poppycock. That sh!t never gets old.

I can't remember-

do you live in Eastern Montana, Hamilton (and winter in FL), or Arizona? And do you like pickles?

Another Alpha pipe dream. They are talking on TV about Dickinson probably being the next Calgary head coach

Dave is a very smart and talented coach. His comment to several of us last summer was the coaching position at the University of Montana was a pressure cooker and not a positive move for him or his family. If he were to coach here anything less than a championship would be a failure in the eyes of fans. If he did not win CHAMPIONSHIPS he feels he would be diminished in the eyes of many. A win or else position. He also said last summer in a newspaper article in Calgary that he is very content where he is at. Good things about living in the same house for ten years. He has had discussion about head coaching positions with other CFL teams but views himself as loyal to the team he is with. (just trying to remember what was said in the article).

He also commented that he does not feel he would enjoy the rigors of recruiting and the time that part of the job would take.

And just named to the hall of fame, and won the Grey Cup tonight! Life is good in Calgary, eh?

From Dave's own mouth...

“My alma mater, Montana’s going to have an opening as well. I love college, I love Montana. But . . . I ain’t going there, either.
