Dateline Is In Missoula This Week

Dateline is in Missoula this week, doing interviews. Looking into the issues of the past 16 months. If you hear anything, post it.
 
Hopefully they go get the facts from our pal Gwen Florio and Sherry Devlin... they'll tell 'em how it is in Missoula!

Hi, my name is Chris Hansen and I'm from Dateline...
 
They are here doing a story on Beau Donaldson, and the Jordan Johnson rape trial...looking for people to talk, interview, etc.
 
Well, according to Optimum, it will be a future story, as no listings show anything about Montana... Maybe in a couple of weeks, but I will pay attention to the listings

Or, expose the behind the scenes maneuvering and collusion of the BOR, Engstrom, the Williams', Schweitzer, the Missoulian, et al, not to mention the Dept. of Justice and Dept. of Education, the University Administration, Missoula County Prosecutors Office, Missoula Police Dept. in all the intrigues over the past year and a half, in the firing of Pflu and O'Day, and the attempted legal lynching of JJ. I'm surprised there hasn't been many more national media outlets sifting through the events of this period. This could be the undoing of a lot of people.

Actually they are here, or have been, conducting interviews. Sounds like they're working on a story looking at the last 18 months of Montana football and all of the press surrounding it.

Doesn't seem like an April fools joke to me since it wouldn't surprise anyone if they really were in town doing a story.
 
Their website refers to a 20 minute segment they did on a car crash in the Flathead, and subsequent trial. Seems relatively unimportant compared to the happenings of the last year and a half in Missoula. Like the first A-bomb test, a big bang was expected, but the fallout was underestimated. If Dateline does this right, the fallout could be very substantial, and rightly so.
 
Dateline is yellow journalism at its worst. You can be sure they know what they're going to say going in and are just looking for supportive interviews and b-roll footage.
