Dante Prevost?

What's the word with this kid? I know WR isn't much of a need, especially with the 2 we signed today, but I'm just curious. I thought I remember reading somewhere that he was really high on the possibility of coming to MT.

He stated point blank he wanted to be a Griz... but I have not seen any posts of where he signed or IF he signed.

I just a quick search and didn't see any news about signing anywhere. I know we have a ton of WRs but I am a fan of competition, and a kid who's 6'3" and runs in the 4.4ish area would be pretty nice to throw in the mix.

A kid who is "6'3" and runs in the 4.4ish" would generally be thrown into the mix at the FBS level. If not, then he either can't catch or truly doesn't run a 4.4ish. Just a reminder that Mariani, who is my all-time favorite Griz (even as a Cat fan), didn't run a 4.4ish.

ask around (PR) on this site and they'll tell you Mariani runs 4.3ish  many won't let their ego tell them that 4.5 is still very fast....not many things more inflated than HS 40 times...... you make some good points Go Cats...to be honest i'm pretty happy with Hassan Richardson...I think the past 2 seasons we've pulled off signing the number 1 reciervers on our board (Saylor last year)...sorry it didn't work out for Prevost...wish the guy luck.

Baller1 is right, 40 times are a mess coming out of high school and in some cases irrelevant. Some kids have game speed, some kids test well in the 40 and others do not. It is laughable how much we throw around 40 times like they are the only measurable. Speed is important no doubt, but if this kid is truly 6'3" and runs in the 4.4's, he was missed at the Pac-10 and not just by the Grizzlies.

According to Scout.com...several schools were interested but New Mexico St. was the only team that offered.

And he is not listed within the NNSU announced signing class.

From that HS I doubt any DI coach knew more about the guy than Pflu. Maybe to a JC because of grades?

He is a fairly good BBall player... may be thats his heart?

Dear G & B:

I "seen" where you probably had trouble with "grads" too. Clean up some grammar and spelling before you post about someone else's academic skills. Too funny.
