Danica gets career best

Danica Patrick finished thrid tonight at Texas Motor Speedway in the Bombardier Learjet 550K. She was just behind winner Sam Hornish, Jr., and teammate Tony Kanaan.

The race only had about three or four cautions, but the last one was huge: there was a major multi-car wreck that took out Helio Castroneves, Dan Wheldon, and four others.

Danica was the fastest car on the track for the last 15 laps or so, but couldn't find her way past Hornish. She did lead 2 laps during pit time.
