Dan Moore

Moore might have put us in the ICU on life support, today. But, IMO, it was #11 that pulled the plug on said life support.

i agree with this, how do you explain the o-line getting handled,,,we were not physical, which is an attitude...

You'd be hard pressed to find someone that knows less about football than me. WTS, even I could see the problem(s) with our o-line today.

As much as it pains me to say it, concerning our offensive line, and NAU's defensive line, Travis Baker simply out coached Scott Gragg today.

Disclaimer: I never played football. Honest question here. How can a guy who is obviously one of the strongest RBs at the FCS level not hold onto the ball? Bad technique? Bad luck? Doesn't seem like he should ever fumble with his physical makeup.

the ball comes loose on the way down, because he is fighting for more yards.

The first one the ball was stripped after he broke though the fist wave of tacklers.....by a second group of tacklers.

The 2nd one was the QBs fault during the hand off.

So that is three on the year which is still 12 behind Nguyens total. Since you guys are asking why Moore doesnt get criticism. I dont expect people like you to understand this but it was worth a try.

I am not trying to bad mouth him or any other Griz player. People like me who didn't play football do have a hard time understanding the game....but I am glad that nonjudgemental people like yourself are willing to teach!

Just watched the 2nd fumble again. The handoff was fine, so definitely not the QB's fault there.Their DLine was in our backfield almost immediately and #31 for them got his hand on the ball & stripped it away from Moore.

Our OLine really had issues in the 2nd half of this game.

keep licking your own nuts there, alpo. three on the year is two more than nguyen has, and his fumble was at least on a difficult-to-make catch. also, it is news to me that once a rb breaks through one set of tacklers ball security is no longer a necessity. and your claim about the second fumble is just bs. my gawd, when dan moore is in the vicinity to you go sniff his anus, or what? dogs like you are such an annoyance.

Moore, who is not hurt, carries his team on his back and creates a better offense than NAU has. Griz win this game at least 7 out 10 times at home. NAU and Bauman are ready for the October slide. And please save this post.

Did the kicker smash his helmet and facemask?
I thought the exact same thing......
Does Lider break his helmet? Or does he run over and pat his teammate on the back and keep up the fight?
I really would like to see a silver lining after this loss....... Really can't though.....
The Griz Imploded... Wheels came off..... Tough, tough day...

Dan Moore is a great fullback. I can't recall seeing a Griz runner with more straight ahead power. However, Dan is not as elusive and fast as many other backs and lacks optimal balance. Baumann with NAU had a great mix of power, balance, elusiveness and speed. Dan is more powerfull than Baumann, but lacks in the other factors. Baumann is a great all around runner.

Also, this is the first time I recall seeing Dan fumble the ball twice. It was just a bad day for him in that regard, and I think we have all had days like that. Ball security is such a critical part of the game, I doubt Dan will have another game like this. I want Dan Moore on my team.

So how many times does Moore have to fumble before he stops getting a free pass in your book?

Love Dan Moore.

But he has GOT to learn ball security. It's one thing if your 155 pound scat back puts the ball on the ground a couple times a season. It's completely unacceptable to have your fullback style back do so as often as Dan has this season.

Alpha has a man crush on Moore, and I get that. But that doesn't change the fact that he's killing his team by coughing up the ball.

You guys give Nguyen a pass why hold Moore to a different standard? Must be because hes an out of state white kid.

Moore fumbled twice and he scored 2 TDs that more than evens out.

Didn't say a word about Nguyen. You took it there.... again (and again and....) Didn't say anything about anybody's race or state of origin, you took it there.... again (and again and...). You answered my question. 12. With three in two weeks, you've got 9 left until Dan Moore's pass is up. Got it.
