The ESPN and former UCLA coach said last night that AD's looking to replace their BB coaches should look at three guys, including our Coach K. Lavin did color on the UM-NAU championship game on The Deuce. I guess we'll have to get use to Larry falling under the national microscope...My gut feeling is he'll stay around one more year because (1) he doesn't feel like his job at UM is done (2) he has some super recruits coming in, and (3) he woulsd want to leave the program in great shape for, probably, Tinkle to take over.
But after the 2006-2007 season, who knows???

Lavin had some VERY positive things to say about Montana. And while I cringed a little too at his pleas to ADs to consider Coach K, if that was a surprise to any of them, it wouldn't be a program Larry would go to anyhow. I figure all press for the program is good.
