I think it’s getting closer, but I think we should all wait until the changes on offense are official. I have heard that Pease does want to do some different things personnel wise as OC. Some things that I believe will really be to the liking of many here on EGriz!

Once I see who they hire for D-Line and the analysts roles, I think I'll be more comfortable weighing in.

Interesting to see how these numbers hold up now that the offensive staff has been released.

This here is definitely more musical chairs then the defensive changes but again, I think with the puzzle pieces that we have, it’s a better fit. I’ve wondered since day one why Pease was not the OC over Rosenbach with a history of far more success and experience. This is definitely a demotion for Timm without an all out dismissal but allowing his friend to keep a paycheck. I also think reducing Germer to the interior is a good step, since that was his position group last time he was here and had success. Now wether that was success cus of him or just good recruiting is yet to be seen. I don’t know for sure if Phen is the right guy for the tackles coaching job but we’ll see I guess. That’s the one move I would’ve liked to see them bring in some fresh blood with good tackles experience. All in all though, it’s good to see changes happening to attempt to improve the program. We’ll see.

Germer coached all of the o-line previously, to my knowledge.

I thought Phen left. Am I missing something? Pease is not better than Rosenbach, just another big ego blowhard. He is not the answer and we better hope we can just out athlete everyone because we will again be out coached on offense most every game. Our defense will be great again.

I’ll bookmark this post for the end of the season when the offense is way more dynamic under Pease!

Pease is walking into a much better situation than Rosey. Much improved offensive line, multiple QB’s with talent and phenomenal running backs. The tight ends aren’t too shabby either. Yes, you could consider then part of the O line! Griz will be much better this coming year. Pease could look like a genius.
