Alabama assistant Jim McElwain takes on big rebuilding job in Ft. Collins...Hmm? Somebody else to compete for MT blue chipper HS kids.

Hope he does as good of a job or better than Butte natives Sonny Lubick and Mick Delaney at CSU. Both of whom were former bobcat coaches by the way.
 
He was a finalist last year for the Colorado Buffs job. They hired a very inexperienced NFL TE's coach instead. The other finalist with McElwain, can't remember who it was, was very outspoken about how he and McElwain both never really had a chance because CU's administration made the decision that they were going to hire their first black football coach. So he interviewed for some bigger jobs before CSU.
