One benefit the ducks will have with Dakota over VA is that he would be there for spring ball and they won't have to wait until a few weeks before their first game to see if he can pass a math test to become eligible.

That is literally the only benefit.

Dakota may be a fine Big Sky QB, but he is no Vernon Adams, and I honestly cannot see him being nearly as successful at Oregon as VA was this year.

Best of luck to him if he wants to try, though. :thumb:

A second benefit he has over VA is Oregon doesn't play MSU next year so none of his ex-teammates can take a cheapshot on him in the season opener.

Prukop and Cramsy leaving msu will be the greatest assistance for the bobcats and coach Choate. Starting out with a normal and good QB and a regular OC will make the team a much better overall team in the long run...
The silly offense featuring Prukop running like a chirping goose and flinging the ball willy nilly was a fun "sand lot" type of game for the hapless cats. Cramsey shot himself in the upper foot with some of his dumb statements.

The true problem for the team was Prukop and of course Cramsey helping him to become the bragging "I'm the one" type of player on a decent team. My estimate for the cats is they will be a damn good team in a few years
because they are getting one very good no nonsense coach.

This is spot on. He and Cramsey were a toxic combo for the cats.

Choate is an excellent hire for the cats. Unfortunately.
