Colter had a rough presser - he was in the clouds with some otherwise great news for his family. I think many of us can attest to being a little euphoric with news not related to work being a little checked out otherwise.

I had just got off a plane home from San Francisco where I got engaged....and I had just left the baby doctor with my future wife.

It was the worst press conference performance of my career. I messed it up. Year 17, bound to have bad days ever now and then. I fully own it. Ready to move on.

You likely missed it, but he put together a podcast to defend his journalistic integrity that included an "editorial" comment supposing that many Griz fans were now "sore losers" because of the recent struggles beating bozeman and because the coaches at State DUI hadn't been dismissed or reprimanded in any way. He wasn't free to comment in an editorial sense on their situations, and we could read the transcripts of the court proceedings or what had been discussed in the bozeman media. That or go pound sand, our choice.

If i cared about growing my sports content business in any way for the half of the state that supports Montana, I might have left out the sore losers part. Had he just kept his mouth shut and let some of us think him a fool... But that's just me.

Listen, man, he’s not here to editorialize unless he’s here to editorialize upon what he wishes to editorialize that he’s not here to editorialize.

I’m extremely happy for Colter. So awesome.

But I’m not sure life happens give him a hall pass. To his credit, he was a man (unlike anyone on the bub staff) and owned up to his complete lack of prep.

But with all due respect to him, this is another instance in which he’s come across as unprofessional. And at some point it’s reasonable to ask how many strikes before you’re out, no?

Congratulations, Colter! I want to hear more about this baby doctor. I’m not so sure I’d consent to treatment from a baby, but if he/she has the bona fides and is included in my plan, who knows? It would probably depend on where the baby did the residency.

One possibility you may be overlooking CDA is the Benjamin Button effect. Although speech and dexterity have surely taken hits, the baby likely has a lifetime of experience and achievement.. Kudos to the baby for sticking with it!
