Could playing in the Fargo Dome where NDSU doesn't ever lose be an advantage for the griz? Uh ya, sure..... go with that.

Bobcat Stadium is currently the biggest home field advantage in all of FCS, and the Fargo Dome is 2nd.

I am certain the Griz would prefer to be playing in the cold confines of Wa Griz this weekend...as a top seed against an E Coast or Southern Team. It's a tried-and-true formula to the chipper. Many of us remember it.... unfortunately, many now, do not.

That goes without saying.
Lets plan on that next weekend,

They play with great heart and determination, but fall short due to absolute stubbornness in regards to lack of imaginative play-calling and underutilizing our true weapons. Also, a lack of bigger D-linemen and depth will be an issue, in my humble opinion. Even so, ill still be cheering loudly and cussing at my TV. Hopefully LJ takes a shot or three and finds his chill early.

Go GRIZ!

Word on the street is there are two entire sections of tickets not sold. The bison fans are getting bored with their team. They might not have as big of a home-field advantage they usually do if that’s the case

This morning they still had 8000 tickets to sell, some of their fans are complaining that its because they have not moved up to the FBS.

It may not have been updated but they were looking at reducing the ticket price to fill the stands but someone asked if the NCAA would allow that ???
If you look at their fan site they have been trending down in attendance over the past few years, some say its because they have not moved up to FBS and are bored beating up on the rest of the FCS
Certainly it will be loud anyway but if they only bring in just a couple thousand more that we did last week there is something definitely going on over there.

Why look at a fan site? The actual data is available from the NCAA and it is more than "trending down." I posted that data a month or two ago.

I assume the Griz can handle the noise and crowd. I like that Johnson won’t have to deal with adverse weather. I hope he lights it up. I expect a good showing and, as always, my win can win.

We may be out of the elements in the dome, but they will have crazy crowd noise while we are on offense and given the artificial turf with a somewhat hobbled/injured qb I don't see how this could be much of an advantage. Our team loves hitting in the cold because its better being the hitter and destroying a teams will, but that leaves you pretty banged up.
