I wasn't real familiar either, Everett, so I did a little search. Delaney Doherty was killed when she was hit in a head-on collision in August 2023 right before her senior year at Manhattan, MT high school. She was gifted student and athlete, playing both softball and volleyball. As I understand it, the Delaney Doherty Foundation was established to support and benefit the students at Manhattan High School.

Dawn Gilman posted the FB link I shared, having made the connection with the Doherty family.
