Cool (photos) Q&A on Ahmaad Rorie

There's an interesting Q&A in the Montana Kaimin on Griz redshirt guard Ahmaad Rorie. Good stuff.... just wish it were about 3 times longer. I love this exchange:

MK: What do you think you bring to Montana when you come back next year?

AR: I think mainly I bring a competitive spirit. I hate losing, I don’t accept losing, I don’t care who I’m playing against I just won’t take losing. A lot of scoring and a lot of leadership.

Looking forward to next year already!

Here's the link to the story: http://www.montanakaimin.com/sports/kaimin-sports-q-a-oregon-transfer-rorie-ready-for-griz/article_f4f549dc-f69d-11e5-8b2f-5351f47e2385.html

Make certain to check this out for the photography alone. Outstanding (labor intensive) photography by Will McKnight (who also conducted the interview).

Looking at the pic is what keeps me trying to be good---maybe I get to do that in heaven, probable going the other way and keep dribbling it off my foot.

Regarding 2016-17 Montana schedule, the following we know for certain. I believe each participating team is guaranteed three games.

The eight NCAA division I men’s basketball teams participating in the 17th annual Paradise Jam event include Creighton, Loyola University Chicago, North Carolina State, Oral Roberts, Ole Miss, Montana, St. Joseph’s, and Washington State. The men’s tournament takes place annually the week before Thanksgiving and this year will be held November 18-21 at the University of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas, USVI.

That's right! I forgot that they were playing in that thing. Win a couple there and that's solid.

Rorie mentions the tough schedule next year. Do we know any of the teams yet?

The schedule will be tough, there are some good high-major teams on it. The home schedule will be more entertaining and D-1 centric. Just can't reveal teams yet. I was told it will be released earlier than last season's
