I just don't see any inconsistency! Ash made a valid decison on Tyler. He di what was asked of him at MSU. Plus, I see a valid decision with Connor based on what he has done since he screwed up in high school.

I don't care about ash. It's you moron fans who can't seem to get it.

Consistently inconsistent.

So you're playing the hypothetical victim card?

Ummm, if I had the foggiest notion what you're talking about, I'd do all in my power to answer your question.

Ha! Youre arguing a hypothetical situation.

there's a thread on b.n. about the pate and badger c-store beating, but that was started by one of our posters and there isn't one post by a cat fan that is trashing u.m., so i kinda doubt that m.s.u. fans will be too worked up about poole coming back. unless he's back this year in which case a lot of our own fans will be worked up and rightfully so.

I am? Huh.

Nope, still confused.

Poole will play in 2013...

Now Havgriz......please preface a definitive statement like that with "my sources say" or "I think" or STFU like you tell the rest of us to do when we post a so-called "fact". Or to help you out of a bind you could just post a link to the expert clairvoyant that published/ predicted this ...other than you.

Some Griz fans responses in here teasing the cats for this is pretty damn laughable.

Of late (and I believe also in the very near future) The Griz have welcomed back a few players who paid the price of public scrutiny as well as tickets/fines/community service/even jail time and the fan base has been happy to see these kids get a 2nd chance.

How about we just welcome Connor back to FCS football and hope he learned his lesson? I never cheer for the cats, but that's how I feel about this. It would be near hypocritical to think otherwise while we have welcomed back Jimmy Wilson and Bryan Maus of late as well as (I'd bet) Trevor Poole next year and maybe even Jordan Johnson.

Ridiculous. You screw up in life you should NEVER have a second chance. Speeding ticket, honors violation, MIP - done. There is no room for error. To hell with rehabilitation, redemption, second chances. These kids are 18 to 22 - they should know better. I have NEVER displayed poor judgement and I have NEVER needed a second chance. Connor Thomas should be kicked out of school and required to leave the state. So should Poole. Make both of them do hard time and send them to North Dakota.

My point was simply that there are cat fans that will say absolutely nothing if or when Connor Thomas suits up but yet will raise a fit if Poole suits up again for the Griz. I personally hope Thomas has learned his lesson and that Ash is not rolling the dice on hime like so many coaches would do for a player with a similar history.

When Jordy finishes his stint with the law and finds his way back to the field do you really think it will be over and done with for the majority of cat fans? As far as thomas is concerned I really don't care what he does or doesn't do on the football field as long as he succeeds in life.

Absolutely! However, can we do away with the, "Coach Ash's players spend their days practicing, going to class, reading the Bible to the blind and drinking nothing harsher than warm milk." type nonsense? I agree with his decision as people do make mistakes, it's the hypocrisy of many (obviously Griz fans included) that get me. "Coach Ash would never..." Coach Ash just did, and good for him even if it means taking a risk. Good luck Connor, avoid doing stupid stuff.
