When I look at this past weekend, you guys certainly did a better job playing with UW than my Tigers did. We should have looked at your film better. While I do think that the Huskies played dirty and the refs were horrible, the bottom line is that we played to lose. The Griz looked like they were playing to win, and that's the big difference. I'm already looking forward to football season (and VB season as well). While I'll be concentrating on the team I'll be coaching with, I do wish the Griz well. Not well enough to beat my Hornets, of course. :wink: But then, the Griz really don't need that to beat us, though. On the VB side, I'm thinking that it's come down to UOP either winning the NCAAs (not much chance of that) or the coach gets canned. We haven't done ANYTHING since our "real" coach defected to Stanford, and this chick's run the team into the ground. While the Tigers have NEVER failed to make the NCAAs, this may well be the year for it to happen since we've made it the last several years on rep alone. That will likely end this year. The problem is that she's been there so long between playing, being an assistant, and now the HC that to can her is like canning Joe Pa. It's very hard to do.
