Come back and redshirt next year, then play two years with her little sister as a Lady Griz!bigtyme said:I was actually going to raise the question of her considering a move back to Missoula because of her lack of playing time. I would love to see her come home and help the LG become a force to be reckoned with. And with the writing on the wall regarding the younger sister that has taken her time away from her, I thought it would be realistic. I know the education she is getting is priceless with whatever degree she is pursuing, it is just something that came to mind after seeing her get a mere eight minutes of playing time last night.

There are potentially a bunch of reasons. Her minutes went down substantially because of their stud freshman. She could come back to Missoula and be an all-time great for her parents alma mater. I don't think that is so unrealistic. Personally, I could care less what she does, I just asked the question based on the difference in pt over the last two years.Silvertip said:Why would Josalyn, only a sophomore on a team losing two key players to graduation, leave a team that is a perennial favorite for an NCAA championship for a Griz team that struggles past the first round? Duh? VanDeveer is well aware of what she has in Tinkle. I expect to see her minutes increase greatly next year. I'm a Griz grad, but there's no way that in life after basketball a Stanford education won't give her a stronger leg up than any state school this side of the Mississippi...To be the best you compete with the best. Young Ms Tinkle clearly understands that better than the folks administering Griz athletics who shy away from being challenged...Good for Jos. She made the right choice.
