Congrats to Jamie Weisner

Jamie, the little sister of Mike Weisner, and her Oregon State team are headed to the final four after beating Baylor 60-57 tonight to improve to 32-4. Jaimie scored 16 and scored 38 in the Sweet 16 against DePaul. I know it isn't Griz related, but the Griz aren't playing right now and she's Griz family. Congrats Jaimie and see what you can do against UConn!

Hey, I D L T G, good call. I watched the second half, great game. Very impressed by Oregon State's poise and Weisner's play. Even saw the several shots of her parents sitting in the stands, without ever connecting her to Michael. Thanks for the info.

Footnote: Love Oregon State's coach. His wonderful post-game interview was completely devoid of "coach speak." Straight from the heart, filtered through a wonderful facility with words.They got him from a small school in Oregon, George Fox, where he's had a lot of success, and next year he brings in a recruiting class ranked number twelve in the nation. This is definitely a program on the rise.

Kudos to OSU and to UW---two Northwest teams in the ladies Final Four. Also JW was named second team All-America on Monday.
